Now Is the Time… ‘Cause It Will Come

Spring is here and the sun beckons us to go outside. We forget about all those
indoors days we spent this winter.

I know you had it…that impulse to drop everything and run away from it all. Away from all the bad weather, tasks, responsibilities and “shoulds” and take a “time out” to recharge your batteries. Now is the time to plan for next winter’s escape. Now is the time for getting the best fares, best choice resorts and room categories. Plan now to head south to the sunshine, warm breeze and sand between your toes. In a week, the nonstop flights to St. Marten will be in the system and I will make my plans. I will tell you the details so you can join me next newsletter or just call me. It is easy to plan ahead… just do it!

If your relaxing time is on the slopes somewhere, now is also the time to plan. Those little planes to Aspen sell out quickly, especially if you travel during the public school winter vacation schedules.

The best ‘deal’ time is when most do not want to travel, between Thanksgiving and the 20th of December and the first few weeks after New Year’s. By the first of February, everything goes up in price. An airline seat is the same if you pay $400 or $800… so why pay more. The room with an ocean front view is much nicer than the parking lot view. Your choice, so plan now.

To be at our best, we really need some time to relax. Self-care often seems like an extravagance…indulgent, perhaps even selfish. But I know just how important it is. So plan now for your “time out” chair with your eyes closed listening to the sound of the ocean and enjoying the warmth of the sun and doing absolutely nothing except breathing…
