Luxury Market

The travel industry is just like the rest of the economy and the luxury market is almost healthy. But that does not mean it is unaffordable. Even the luxury hotels, resorts, and cruises are offering great amenities and discounts, therefore great value. Just because a product is considered a luxury, do not rule it out.

I just booked some rooms for a client in San Diego. Yes, the rooms were just over $500 each, but the third night was free. At that price it is not much more than Marriott or Hyatt. Which are all very nice do not get me wrong, but they are not in the luxury market. What does luxury offer? What is the difference?

First and foremost, the difference is service. The staff is trained to handle all your personal needs. They will do everything they can to make your visit a most pleasant experience. What can they do? If you forgot your black shoes to go with your black suit for your meeting the next day, they can find your shoes and have them delivered. They can get your suit/dress pressed or cleaned as need be. They can help you make dinner reservations for that once in a life time dinner experience. They can even get tickets to events!

In luxury travel, the accommodations are wonderful.. Big soft towels, Egyptian high count sheets, soaps, and creams to sooth you. The decors can vary from the most minimalist to the highest French or Italian. Rest assured it will be of the best quality. There are places that have original art from all over the world. Can you imagine sleeping under a Matisse? I know where you can!

To top off all the luxury bargains that are out there Vista Travel is also a Virtuoso agency. We can offer lots of specials like upgrades, food and beverage credits and shore excursions on cruises. Very often free nights, upgrades and extras add up to a better price than on a mid-market product.

Do not rule out that five star experience. You may be able to afford it and surely you will remember it always 😉
