Now is just the right time to begin planning that summer or fall holiday to Europe.
If you have never been or not been for a long while you may be saying, “How do I decide the where’s, when’s, how’s, why’s and who’s?” This is where I come into play. I will help you answer those questions by asking more questions. You supply the answers. And little by little, we will determine the right experience for you. Some people like to come to my office to have a face-to-face conversation; others are fine with a conference call. Either way – I like to begin with talking, as the process is much faster and more fluid than email. This way, I can also hear your thoughts and feelings.
What is some of the homework you need to do before this conversation?
First – there are usually several parameters you already have, such as time and money. Both are the driving factors of your plans, and time more than money. Most cities have a large variety of hotels in the city center, which allows me to find a great place that meets your budget needs. But time does have its limitations whether you are going for five days or three weeks, you still have limits. This is where I am very good at arranging your unique experience. Sometimes I arrange just your transportation and hotels. For others, I can do the entire itinerary – all your transfers, day tours, and museum ticket and dinner reservations.
If you are saying we do not want to travel by ourselves because there are too many issues to deal with – then a group trip is for you. There are many from which to choose. Again – time and money are major factors. Besides the destination, you need to decide how many excursions you want to book ahead of time. Some group tours, called “Hosted” are just the basics – Hotel accommodations and transportation to get you from point to point.
If you would prefer having lots planned, then you should go with an “Escorted Tour.” That includes a guide showing you all the sights, and every detail mapped out so you don’t have to think- hotels, tours, meals, etc.
Most of all – you need to know if your passport is up to date. Check today – the expiration date is six months beyond return travel date! Now call me so we can start planning!
